GLBT New Yorkers across New York State are preparing for the upcoming ESPA Equality and Justice Day on May 1st during which numerous GLBT New Yorkers head to Albany to lobby their state representatives on issues important to GLBT citizens.  High on the list this year is GENDA (Gender Expression Nondiscrimination Act), DIGNITY (Dignity for All Students Act) and a bill to legalize same-sex marriage in New York State.   In the hope of an even better lobbying effort, ESPA has also prepared a new training video aimed at teaching new activists tips and methods on how to lobby their representatives.
